Alexander was part of the lab from August 2018 to August 2022.
Alexander Mercier graduated from the University of South Florida with a dual major in pure mathematics and microbiology, with a minor in Russian. He was a Goldwater scholarship award winner, a Rhodes and Marshall finalist, and the student of the year at USF in 2022. He worked on disease ecology and epidemiology research with a particular interest in network mathematics. He is now a PhD student at the Harvard School of Public Health.
